The birth of an idea

LumièreDuBois was born from a simple observation: technology fills our homes, but it doesn't have to be cold and impersonal.

We imagined objects where the digital fades behind the warmth of natural wood. Objects that make you forget they're connected — until you notice they never need to be set.

Our philosophy

Every LumièreDuBois product follows three principles:

• Natural beauty — Wood is our material of choice. Its unique grain makes each piece irreplaceable.
• Invisible technology — WiFi, LED, sensors: everything is there, but nothing shows. The digits seem to emerge from the wood itself.
• Absolute silence — No mechanism, no ticking. Our clocks are 100% digital and perfectly silent.

Craftsmanship and precision

Our clocks are made from E1-certified natural wood. The light oak surface is selected for the beauty of its grain — each piece is truly unique.

The warm white LED display is integrated beneath the wood surface, creating a soft, elegant glow. WiFi synchronisation via the NTP protocol ensures absolute accuracy, with zero manual intervention.
